Quick Review: Starting off strong, but ending up weakly, this 3-chapter Hindi period horror flick is a breath of fresh air in the sea of genre films due to its cultural origin, revolving around a mythological fable about an evil Goddess' firstborn son, and generating a haunting atmosphere that alone is enough to give you the creeps, and despite the third-rate, cheesy CGIs and uneven narrative, "Tumbbad" is a fairy tale-ish' human greed'-themed parable with moral value and a few scares.
