[5.00/10] The Monster (2016)

The Monster (2016)

Quick Review: Sure, it pays tribute to old school creatures features by using a classic pitch-black tone, and some flawed, but at the same time satisfying practical effects, allowing the monster to look as disgustingly realistic as possible, and the totally electrifying relationship between the young mother, and her daughter is probably more frightening than both the creature and the gore, but "The Monster" fails big time to generate any big scares due to a poor script that leads it to nowhere.

I always wondered what happened to Scott Speedman after Underworld...

Alex, I've watched him in a couple of movies, and to be honest I find him pretty mediocre as an actor.
